Questions, bug reports and suggestions are all welcome. One rule above all: never send anyone your setup keys — not us, not anybody.
We will never ask for a 2FA setup key, a backup file, a recovery sheet, or a passphrase. Nobody legitimate needs them to help you. If anyone claiming to be us asks for one, it is an attempt to take over your accounts. Ignore it.

We read everything, though as a free tool run by a small team, replies may take a few days.
Reporting a problem
The more of this you can include, the faster it can be fixed:
- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
- Your browser and version, and the device (for example: Chrome 138 on Windows 11, or Safari on iPhone).
- Whether you were using the hosted site, an installed app, or the downloaded file.
- Any message the page displayed, copied exactly.
- A screenshot, with any setup key or code blurred out.
If a code is being rejected
Before writing in, try the Check clock button on the main page. A device clock that has drifted is the cause the overwhelming majority of the time, and that button both diagnoses and corrects it. The guide section on rejected codes covers the other possibilities.
Security disclosure
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please email the address above with SECURITY in the subject line and enough detail to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue before publishing. We are grateful for reports and happy to credit you if you would like.
Feature requests
Tell us what you were trying to accomplish rather than the feature you have in mind — it often turns out there is a better way to solve it, or that something already does the job.
